History would have been quite different with modern technology:

322 BC- Alexander the Great's status on Facebook reads 'is the ruler of the freakin' world.'
400 BC- Socrates is banned from a Greek discussion board for corrupting the youth of Athens.
1274- Marco Polo discovers a land route to China using a GPS device.
